At HaT Workforce Development Institute Inc., our mission is to empower people — from youth entering the workforce to adults seeking new opportunities, and even older adults looking to stay engaged — with the skills, confidence, and support needed to become independent, purposeful, and positive contributors to society.
We believe that workforce development is more than just job training — it’s a pathway to dignity, self-reliance, and community impact. By creating accessible programs focused on career readiness, technical skills, soft skills, and personal growth, we help individuals gain employment, switch careers, or acquire new skills to thrive in a changing workforce. Our programs also focus on helping unemployed individuals and career changers rebuild their futures and become active participants in the nation’s economy.
Our work also extends to older adults, recognizing that skill-building and meaningful engagement are vital to preventing loneliness, boredom, and isolation. Through training opportunities designed to teach new skills, encourage volunteerism, and promote community involvement, we help seniors remain independent, active, and purpose-driven while sharing their valuable experience with others.
